The Ultimate Version of the Favorite Holiday Tale!

The Ultimate Version of the Favorite Holiday Tale!

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens was initially published in 1843, and since then the story has been adapted  —  a whopping 400+ times. That's more adaptations for film and/or television than any other story written in the English language!

Agreed, the timeless tale of a greedy character and achieving redemption in the holiday-season is eminently relatable to any culture at any part of the world. No wonder every single sitcom and drama on television worth its salt has dedicated special “episodes” based on the timeless tale.

Now YouTuber Heath Waterman has put together a stunning 53-minute composition by mixing and editing clips from these 400 adaptations. The entire story you know and love, but told from such varied narrators as Mickey Mouse, Veronica Lodge, the Cryptkeeper, Jim Carrey and Bill Murray - What can beat that?!

In Heather’s own words: So this is one of the stupider things I’ve done. Telling the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, over the medium of film (silent and talkies), tv episodes, tv specials, books, audiobooks, songs, comics, pornos, a view-master slide and one special episode of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman...

You might have seen at least one adaptation of the classic before. But very unlikely to have seen them all. And most certainly never like this.
