The Top Dogs At Westminster 2017
Via PG This year’s 141st annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show saw over 2874 dogs of 200 different breeds strutting their stuff in the two-day competition held at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Westminster, which started in 1877 as a gentlemen's sporting event, began this year with an agility competition. The traditional portion of the show continued with group competitions and ended on the second day. |
The individual winners of different groups provided a tough challenge for the judges to name the Best in Show. Dogs competed against others of their breed for the chance to advance to the group contests, and from there, a shot at Westminster's top dog. But only one would be “Best in Show.” Read on for the individual group winners and the ultimate champion. |
