This is the inexorable advance of the the new rich-get-richer economy that has boiled down to an inequitable distribution of wealth - across the globe. This is the latest finding from the charity Oxfam, which has presented this astounding fact in its latest report - An economy for the 99 percent.

Recent (and better) data on the distribution of global wealth – particularly in major economies like India and China – indicates that the poorest half of the world has less wealth than had been previously thought.
