This 80-year-old grandmother has put fellow bodybuilding competitors to shame and credits diet, exercise and God for her excellent health. She wakes up at 3am to train and runs about 10 miles daily. She has also run multiple marathons!
As she reveals on facebook, she sticks to a strict 1700-calorie diet that includes egg whites, chicken and vegetables. And no, she doesn't take any supplements.
Ernestine will also celebrate 60 years of marriage with her husband this year and is the proud mother of one. She recently released her first book, titled Determined, Dedicated, Disciplined To Be Fit in April 2016. The title is her life mantra as well.
At an age where most folks are bed-ridden, Ernestine is true embodiment of what discipline and hard work can do. Even for the younger lot, she is an inspiration for some serious life goals.
