Ed, a retired band director surprised his wife of 33 years, at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. As soon as she got on the escalator, Ed took a deep breath and serenaded her all the way down. He played the Louis Armstrong classic “What a Wonderful World
” for his wife and gifted her a bouquet of flowers.
The unexpected serenade drew crowds and earned him a standing ovation at the end. It was captured on camera and posted on the airport’s Facebook
Guess he was just happy that she was back safe and sound !
