The roll-out kicked off with Collins’ 1981 debut, Face Value and other classics like Both Sides and No Jacket Required followed. Collins upped the ante of the nostalgic excursion by indulging himself in a sentimental manner.
Keen-eyed fans soon noticed something curious about the collection “Take a Look at Me Now". Pictures of Collins on the new album covers looked quite a bit older than the originals.
Phil had teamed up with photographer Patrick Balls to recreate his original album art from ages ago. The recreated gold and multi-platinum album covers turned out great.
Collins did like to put freakishly extreme close-ups of his face on his album covers. And since he managed not to die young, has now aged remarkably well.
