The Owner Comes Free With This Expensive Home!
The notorious Playboy Mansion has hit the market with a list price of $200 million, making it the most expensive home currently for sale in the U.S.
The sprawling mansion spread over five acres on South Mapleton Drive in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles has over decades come to embody Hollywood's wild party culture.
The 20,000-square-foot house is the definition of luxury with 29 rooms, a home theater, swimming pool, wine cellar, tennis court, and even a rare "zoo license!"
But there’s a catch! It comes with the current resident, 89 year old legendary Hugh Hefner – who will remain in the mansion until he dies. According to the terms of the sale, the home will lease back to Hefner, and the new owners are required to allow him to continue living on site indeterminately.
The magazine – founded in 1953 – has been in the red for long and as part of an effort to reinvent itself, had stopped printing photos of completely nude women. The rag plans to use the proceeds of the sale to shore up its fortunes.
Go ahead, buy it! For sure, it’s something that'll make you the envy of every man you meet.
