Swarm of Bees Chase After Car for TWO Days !
The car was pursued by the loyal swarm after their queen somehow got trapped in the boot. Eventually Roger Burns, the local beekeeper had to sort out the issue. Howarth drove home on Sunday after the bees were removed, thinking the problem had been fixed. But the next day, the bees were back.
Beekeepers, park wardens and passersby had spent hours getting the bees into a cardboard box in which they could be taken away. However a bit later, the wind blew off the lid of the box, the bees got out and the queen became lodged in the car’s rear compartment once again.
The disgruntled swarm attached themselves to the rear of the car in an attempt to rescue their trapped matriarch. The good Samaritans had to repeat their efforts and carted away the bees for good this time. It sure wouldn't have been fun to have an agitated swarm follow you around, right ?
