A Creepy Live Stream and Contest for a Haunted Doll
We are all familiar with creepy haunted dolls - Chucky and Annabelle being the most (in)famous. Now you have the chance to get one for yourself, and you don't have to shell out any fancy sum for that. All courtesy of horror website 'The Lineup', which boasts "the web's creepiest and most mysterious" content.
The doll named Ann is believed to house the spirit of a girl who supposedly died in the early 1900s while being treated for TB at Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Many strange occurrences have been reported around Ann the doll, including severe drops in temperature and a strange odor described as a damp basement smell in Ann’s presence.
The Lineup have teamed up with the paranormal specialists of Destination America to bring you a live stream of this slightly creepy, and supposedly haunted, doll. The 24/7 camera surveillance is solely focused on the doll. The live stream will be up for two weeks in the hopes that someone watching will get to witness the doll engaging in some sort of paranormal activity.
The live streaming has been problematic with people allegedly hearing a child’s cry, power cords pulling themselves out, and problems uploading the video to live feed, which only adds to the notoriety. All this might be more than a bit terrifying for even the bravest of paranormal lovers.
The website is also holding an essay contest where you have to explain why your's can be the best home for Ann. The most creative and heartfelt essay can have “Ann” for their very own. Are you that creative or brave enough ?
